This engagement ring was one of the first custom rings we have ever done. At the end of 2019, Lisa approached us with her original engagement ring that was in rough shape, to say the least. With about 5mm cut from the middle of the ring, a “cutting corners'' way to resize. The setting was simple, a solitaire band and 6 prongs to cover her beautiful 6mm white diamond center stone. She didn’t want to stray too far from the original but wanted to bring new life to her center stone. We landed on a simple four prong setting with diamonds on the band. This drew attention to the center stone and also added a little extra sparkle to the band, but not too much. With 1.5mm white diamonds set in a french setting going half way around the band this ring was simply perfect for Lisa. Now, she wears her engagement ring daily after almost 6 years of the ring being left behind most days in her jewelry box. Along with her ring, we also gave her channel set wedding band a facelift. We removed all stones, resized the ring, and gave the piece a great polish. Then we reset the stones and replaced two diamonds that were missing. This project really started our love for creating one of a kind custom engagement rings.
