Coral Puffed Heart
The coral puffed heart was a project that we completed in 2019. After our client brought in her great grandmother's 12x12mm coral puffed heart. Coral puffed hearts are very rare, most cabochon stones cut into a heart shape have a flat back. This particular stone was three dimensional. The client was after a romantic "hearts and arrows" theme for this necklace. We added a 18k yellow gold bail to the coral heart, a 3mm rose cut diamond that we bezel set in an eyeglass setting. We added the diamond to the bail of the coral heart as a sparkle and a "charm". On the simple 18k gold, 24" necklace chain we added a toggle clasp that can be shown at the front of the necklace with a hand carved arrow. We loved this piece so much we added it to our collection.
